WOW, this book is amazing. I haven't been able to put it down since I started and find myself thinking about it all day. Has anyone else read it? I'll pass it on as soon as I'm done, which will hopefully be tonight!

Bon Iver has been on heavy rotation for me for at least the past year. He has such a beautiful voice and I couldn't imagine anything better to listen to on this cold, brisk afternoon. Enjoy.
When Jenn was here visiting we got on the subject of alternative Xmas trees. I'm not talking plastic, fake smelling, white, tinsel trees. I don't know that I could ever go down that road. Guernica has always been one of my most favorite Picasso pieces. I loved dissecting and analyzing it in my art history classes. I was always so moved by the tragedy of war it depicts, not to mention the symbolizism of Spain's struggle during that time. Here's an interesting interpretation of the painting:
